They intertwine themes that move and unsettle me: immigration, poverty, resilience, and the search for hope, even in the darkest of circumstances. I write about women and men who survive the political decisions of each era, who face displacement, love, injustice, and the strength to start anew. Characters who, with their scars and their demons, remind us that history doesn't reside only in books, but in every life that dares to resist and continue to believe in love.

I'm Graciela Ramos, and my life revolves around words and the aromas of cooking. I've long wanted to open my heart through words, and I think the time has come to share this universe with you.
My novels always include recipes, because my characters cook, they are drawn to the aromas, and they find in the kitchen a way to feel alive. Cooking, like writing, requires patience, intuition, creativity, and an endless dose of passion.
